This lightweight 36 Volt battery powered tool, with capacity up to 5000 ft-lbs, is the ultimate solution for strength and portability in industrial bolting jobs worldwide. This tool is compatible with conventional sockets, the HYTORC Nut and Washer.

The LITHIUM SERIES II Tool incorporates TorcSense™ Technology which directly measures torque providing more repeatable results. Now available in a 5000 ft-lbs configuration expanding the operational capability of this tool. With all new features such as the sliding directional switch, snug function, user access levels, advanced bolting, and more further extends the versatility of the tool.

The user interface and menu structure is remodeled for ease of use while presented on a high resolution display. Settings menu offers finer control of user preferences. Expansion of job data management provides flexibility in verifying work performed. Now standard with Bluetooth wireless technology makes data acquisition and firmware upgrades easier than ever. TorcSense™ Technology

A direct torque measurement system utilizing a strain-based transducer in a closed loop monitoring system providing more repeatable torque and enabling advanced bolting features.

Advanced Bolting - Torque Check

Allows the user to apply torque to a nut to detect if the previously tightened nut still meets the original torque specification. Available on 2000, 3000, and 5000 capacity configurations.

Advanced Bolting - Rotations

Enables the user to turn a rotating device (such as a valve) through a specified number of rotations by applying torque to overcome resistance.

Advanced Bolting - Turn Angle

Allows the user to apply a specified angle to tighten a nut, independent of the torque previously applied. This function is typically used after all bolts have already been tightened to a nominal value.

Snug Function

Allows the user to apply a nominal torque value to tighten a nut, typically enough to bring two structural surfaces into contact.

High Strength Gearbox

Gearboxes are enhanced for 20% increase in strength improving impact resistance. Gearboxes are also nickel plated for corrosion resistance.

Intuitive User Interface

The home screen and menu structure is redesigned with all new icons, indicators, and simple navigation layout making the tool intuitive and simple to use. For added convenience, a Shortcut Menu can be created for quick access to the user’s most important functions.

A built-in work light illuminates the working area improving visibility, safety, and productivity.

Access Levels

Multiple Access Levels provides greater administrative control of all bolting functions.

Expanded Job Data Management

Jobs allows the user to label a specific bolting job or application such as a plate, flange, beam, joint, hub or other structural elements for tracking and documenting bolting operations. Profiles is a named, reusable set of tool parameters that are stored and may be recalled from memory to quickly set the tool parameters.

Cycle Count

The tool records the lifetime and maintenance cycles allowing the user to determine when service is required.

Multiple Configurations

Compatible with conventional sockets and reaction arms, the HYTORC Washer system, and precision mechanical tensioning with the HYTORC Nut.
